Sony to release CompactFlash cards market.

Sony has unexpectedly announced it entered the CompactFlash cards market. The first series will soon be unveiled. Thus the company is trying to meet the demand for high-speed and productive storage cards for digital SLR cameras.

The first Sony CompactFlash cards are to come out in spring. They comply with CompactFlash Type I format. The line consists of 66x and 133 x and 1-4 GB cards. They will be introduced as the part of the ecosystem of Sony a100 D-SLR.
